The Dementia Care Education Seminar at Royal Health Care Institute (RHCI) is designed to equip healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

As the aging population continues to grow, dementia care has become one of the most important specialties in healthcare. This course provides evidence-based strategies that improve the quality of life, dignity, safety, and well-being of individuals affected by cognitive impairment. This Seminar fits perfectly into the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) require training for Caregivers.

For Current Students in the NATP and HHA programs – Please note that this Seminar is already included in your program and you do not need to pay separately.

Admission Requirements

 Applicants must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Present a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Complete the registration process.
  • Submit tuition payment prior to the start of class.

No healthcare license is required to enroll.
